First TNBC Meeting Scheduled

Teamsters Local 769 would like to establish a Teamsters National Black Caucus Chapter in our local. As some of you are aware, the TNBC's first official gathering was in Miami in 1971. The goal of the meeting was to bring about change and to educate. If you are interested in learning more about the caucus and becoming a member, please attend this preliminary meeting. Teamsters Local 769 Officers Sworn In

Teamsters Local 769 Officers and Trustees Re-Elected Without Opposition On Thursday January 15, 2015 at the Miami Union Hall, the officers and trustees of Teamsters Local 769 were sworn in to serve another 3 year term. NLRB Certifies Con-Way Election

Teamsters Local 769 has been certified by the National Labor Relations Board as the exclusive collective bargaining representatives for Con-Way Freight, Inc. employees in Hialeah Florida. Local 769 Helps Deliver 110 Bikes

Over the weekend Teamsters Local 769 partnered up with and sponsored the 100 Black Men (Greater Fort Lauderdale Chapter), for their 9th annual bike drive. Our Mission is “To improve the quality of life of African/Caribbean American families through the enhancement of educational and economic opportunities within or community” said Dennis Wright-President. Teamsters Local 769 2014 Toy Drive

Again this holiday season, Teamsters Local 769 will be collecting toys for children in need. We will be distributing those collected through programs in Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. The following flyer can be posted on Local 769 approved job site bulletin boards and distributed to members. With toys being split to multiple areas, please encourage all of your brothers and sisters to participate. Let’s make this year’s Toy Drive the biggest ever.
