Bryan Bezpiaty

Business Agent/Communications

Bryan was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and is the son of a second-generation Union Steelworker. His grandfather was also a lifelong Teamster dairy worker. Three years after moving to South Florida in 1986, Bryan began his career at UPS on the preload in the small Boynton Beach building and after becoming a package car driver, Bryan answered the call to become a shop steward after moving to the newly opened West Palm Beach UPS facility.

Serving as a steward, Bryan always looked for ways to improve communications with members and actively advocated that the Union embrace new tools to engage members. Launching our social media pages in 2013, Bryan continues to maintain our website, social media pages, and hosts the Teamsters Local 769 Solidarity Podcast in an effort to engage Union members in becoming more active in their Union.

In 2016 Bryan had the honor to serve as an elected delegate to the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Convention and served again in 2021 as an alternate delegate.

Bryan currently serves as Recording Secretary on the Executive Board of the Palm Beach-Treasure Coast AFL-CIO Central Labor Council.

Working numerous election campaigns for the Teamsters D.R.I.V.E. department, Bryan worked to engage member support in the field during political campaigns by visiting worksites throughout our jurisdiction and, more recently, by phone banking when the pandemic prevented in-person campaigning.

Bryan and his wife Roni currently make their home in Lake Worth Beach, Florida, along with their son, who is currently attending College in New York.
