Teamsters at IMEX Ratify First Contract

On Saturday, July 16, 2022, Teamster members at IMEX, in three Florida locations, voted to ratify a three-year agreement which is their first since organizing their Union just over a year ago. IMEX workers handle the loading and unloading of cargo from trains at the Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Jacksonville railyards. Many of those cargo containers are transported to and from the railyard by Teamsters who work for employers like UPS, Crowley, YRC, ABF, and others. On Saturday, Jul 10, 2021workers at XPO in Miami made history by voting unanimously to approve their first-ever Teamster contract and the first contract at XPO Logistics in the nation. It was a long road to get to this point as their journey began well over 6 years ago, way back when their company was still named Con-way Freight. They are fighting to end the illegal abuses and manipulation from XPO!
