Penske Workers in Broward Ratify New Contract

On Wednesday January 20, 2021, Teamsters at Penske in Pompano Beach, Florida ratified a new 2 year contract after a hard fought negotiating process. First Transit Para-transit Drivers WIN!

Workers at First Transit in Broward County voted by an overwhelming 82.5% for Teamster representation on Friday April 8th, 2016. The bargaining unit, which consist of nearly 120 para-transit drivers, is contracted by Broward County to provide services to primarily elderly and special needs citizens who need transportation to medical appointments, shopping and other essential locations.
