Paul Becerra currently serves as a Business Representative for Teamsters Local 769, a role he has held since July 2024. In this position, he represents members advocating for their rights and enforcing contracts.
Paul’s career at United Airlines spanned more than 29 years, beginning with Continental Airlines in 1996, where he worked as a customer service agent, aircraft maintenance technician, and lead aircraft maintenance technician. During that time, he also served as a Shop Steward and later as the Chief Shop Steward at MCO, playing a key role on the negotiating committee for the United Airlines technicians contract. These experiences gave him a strong foundation in both the day-to-day challenges workers face and the broader work of contract enforcement and collective bargaining.
Born and raised in Queens, New York, Paul now lives in Orlando, Florida, with his two children. With decades of involvement in the labor movement, he brings commitment to the members he represents.
