On Saturday, Jul 10, 2021workers at XPO in Miami made history by voting unanimously to approve their first-ever Teamster contract and the first contract at XPO Logistics in the nation. It was a long road to get to this point as their journey began well over 6 years ago, way back when their company was still named Con-way Freight. Allegiant Air First Collective Bargaining Agreement Now Headed to Vote

The Teamsters have reached an agreement in principle for 415 mechanics and related classifications at Allegiant Air. After the agreement in principle is finalized between the union and the company, it will be put out for a ratification vote by Teamsters at Allegiant which is expected to occur sometime by the end of July of this year. The Teamsters had already represented pilots and dispatchers at the Allegiant and were certified as the group’s exclusive representative on March 7, 2018. On Wednesday January 20, 2021, Teamsters at Penske in Pompano Beach, Florida ratified a new 2 year contract after a hard fought negotiating process.
