On Saturday, July 16, 2022, Teamster members at IMEX, in three Florida locations, voted to ratify a three-year agreement which is their first since organizing their Union just over a year ago. IMEX workers handle the loading and unloading of cargo from trains at the Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Jacksonville railyards. Many of those cargo containers are transported to and from the railyard by Teamsters who work for employers like UPS, Crowley, YRC, ABF, and others. On Wednesday October 23, 2019, Teamsters at the Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital ratified a new 2 year contract voting 98% to approve. Teamsters Local 769 is the bargaining unit representative for nurses at the hospital and they made numerous gains in this upcoming contract term. Congratulations to all City of Fort Lauderdale employees who ratified a new 3 year contract on Thursday, October 10, 2019. Voting took place at four locations throughout the city and many city workers turned out to show strong support for the new agreement voting 481 'yes' to 43 'no'. UPS Freight Teamsters Ratify Company’s Final Contract Offer

Workers at UPS Freight represented by the Teamsters Union have ratified a new five-year agreement that was the company’s last, best and final offer, averting a national strike. Members approved the contract by a 77 percent to 23 percent margin at local union meetings held from Nov. 7 until today. The agreement covers approximately 11,600 workers at the company.
