Teamsters Local 769 2014 Toy Drive

Again this holiday season, Teamsters Local 769 will be collecting toys for children in need. We will be distributing those collected through programs in Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. The following flyer can be posted on Local 769 approved job site bulletin boards and distributed to members. With toys being split to multiple areas, please encourage all of your brothers and sisters to participate. Let’s make this year’s Toy Drive the biggest ever. Victory at Con-Way Freight in Miami

Employees at Con-Way Freight in Miami voted to join the Teamsters yesterday and Teamsters Local 769 would like to congratulate our newest members. Victory at Amerigas Broward CSR

Another 769 organizing victory  this month. This one at Amerigas CSR in Broward. Teamsters Local 769 would like to welcome our newest  members who voted 6 to 1 for strong Teamsters representation. The main reason the customer service representatives for Amerigas voted for Teamster representation at the Broward County facility was they were looking to be treated with dignity and respect in the workplace. Employees Seek Fair Wages, and better working conditions. Drivers at Keolis Transit America Inc. in Fort Lauderdale, Florida voted to become Teamsters on Thursday, November 6, 2014. The election was held by the National Labor Board and there are 76 Bus Drivers in the bargaining unit.
