Coca-Cola Negotiations Update

Attention Coca-Cola members, Teamsters Local 769, on July 3, 2018, was certified as the exclusive bargaining representative for Coca-Cola Beverages of Florida, LLC. (case# 12-RC-220821) The parties have met in an effort to negotiate a contract on September 6, September 13, October 10, November 13, December 19, 2018 and January 16, February 6, February 13, 2019 to date. As a result of those negotiations, the parties have reached a tentative agreement on the payday, safety, time off for union business, union bulletin boards, elections, funeral leave, meal period and jury duty. Coca-Cola Beverages Florida Workers Join Teamsters Local 769

Drivers at South Dade Facility Vote Overwhelmingly in Favor of the Union (Miami) Drivers at Coca-Cola Beverages Florida's (CCFB) South Dade facility voted today by a three-to-one margin to join Teamsters Local 769. Of the 48 eligible voters, 47 participated in representation election. "This is another win for freedom and democracy," said Jorge Castillo, a CCBF driver who emigrated to the U.S. from Cuba.
