Teamsters Local 769, on June 15, 2018, was certified as the exclusive bargaining representative for Borden Dairy Company of Florida, LLC. (case# 12-RC-219958) The parties have met  in an effort to negotiate a contract on September 12, October 17, November 8, December 10, 2018 and February 13, February 20, 2019 to date. Attention Coca-Cola members, Teamsters Local 769, on July 3, 2018, was certified as the exclusive bargaining representative for Coca-Cola Beverages of Florida, LLC. Sysco Miami Drivers Vote to Join Teamsters Local 769

All workers want respect, fair pay and affordable health care. These are the reasons that drivers at Sysco South Florida in Medley,FL have voted to join Teamsters Local 769 and the second organizing victory in less than three weeks at Sysco for the Teamsters. The vote count was 100-25 in favor of joining the union and there are 132 drivers in the bargaining unit. Sysco Miami Election Notice

Congratulations to the workers at the Miami Sysco location, who have won the companies challenge and secured their election date. The company lost their argument to include the warehouse workers and other classifications in the bargaining unit in an effort to water down support. UPS Freight Teamsters Ratify Company’s Final Contract Offer

Workers at UPS Freight represented by the Teamsters Union have ratified a new five-year agreement that was the company’s last, best and final offer, averting a national strike. Members approved the contract by a 77 percent to 23 percent margin at local union meetings held from Nov. 7 until today. The agreement covers approximately 11,600 workers at the company. The final vote was 6,935 in favor and 2,067 opposed with 84 percent of eligible members voting.
