XPO Workers in Miami Secure Historic First Contract
On Saturday, Jul 10, 2021workers at XPO in Miami made history by voting unanimously to approve their first-ever Teamster contract and the first contract at XPO Logistics in the nation. It was a long road to get to this point as their journey began well over 6 years ago, way back when their company was still named Con-way Freight. City of Fort Pierce Workers Ratify 1st Year Increase of 8%
On Tuesday, May 25, 2021, public sector members at the City of Fort Pierce ratified a new 3 year contract which includes an 8% increase for all workers in the first year of the agreement and additional incentive pay increases for sanitation workers. The agreement also includes reopeners for wages during the second and third years, so this contract ensures that these essential workers will be compensated for their efforts now and into the future. Teamsters at Bimbo Bakery Ratify NEW 5 Year Contract
On Tuesday, February 23, 2021 Teamsters at Bimbo Bakery ratified a new contract after a series of ratification meetings were conducted at multiple locations. The meetings were for the purposes of explaining all of the enhancements workers would be receiving under the new 5 year agreement.
