Teamsters Local 769 Human Rights Commission On Tuesday, February  11, 2014, Wayne Fox, co-chair from  iPods for Wounded Veterans organization, was a guest speaker at the I.B.T. Brewery and Soft Drink Workers Conference 2014 Annual Meeting in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Wayne Fox thanked Teamsters Local 769 for the continued support for our veterans and to the iPods for Wounded Veterans program. During this conference Wayne and Joe Zuffante, President of local 122, spoke to Business Agents and Officers from the United States and Canada on the importance  of getting involved and shared personal stories from the wounded soldiers that received letters from the Dear Solider letters campaign. Film Florida – Rally in Tally

Each March, film industry members descend on Tallahassee for an annual Capitol Blitz. Though some of our members are regulars in Tallahassee throughout the year, the March meeting gives all members an opportunity to walk the halls and meet with lawmakers in an effort to increase awareness about legislature that affects the film industry, and to communicate the impact the film industry has in our state. Introducing Our NEW Business Agents

At the General Membership Meeting on January 16, 2014, President and Principal Officer Mike Scott introduced the members in attendance to Teamsters Local 769's  two newest business agents, Mike Cortez and Randy Pines. Mike Cortez is a 38 UPS veteran with more than 28 years as steward. Mike has also worked as an organizer on numerous organizing and political campaigns. UAL Technicians Stand Up
