Martin County Wage Agreement

Martin County Blue Collar and Clerical employees ratified a wage agreement for October 1, 2013 which increased bargaining unit employees wages by 3%. Steve Myers, business agent for Teamsters Local 769 in Vero Beach organized the Martin County workers in 2007 and negotiated this agreement.

3 Year Deal for IRC Blue Collar

The Indian River County Blue Collar Unit, which encompasses parks department, utilities, life guards, building maintenance, road and bridge employees and more, ratified a new 3 year contract on October 1st, 2013. The new contract guarantees an 8% wage increase over 3 years with a reopen for cost of living increases for the 2nd and 3rd year of the agreement. Business agent Steve Meyers says, "Congratulations to our Indian River County members, the pay increase is well deserved and overdue." The new contract was ratified by 95% of the bargaining unit and shows what can be accomplished when workers unite.…

Welcome Medics Ambulance

Teamsters Local # 769 would like to welcome Medics Ambulance of Dade County. Our new brothers and sisters have obtained their first contract and are now members of Teamsters Local 769 with David Renshaw as their business agent. This includes : full time and part time, ambulance drivers, EMT's, Paramedics, F.T.O 's. We currently represent (AMR) - American Medical Response in Dade county as well. David Renshaw would like to thank the Negotiating Committee for an excellent job during this entire process.
