2016 Teamsters Local 769 Scholarship

Teamster parents work hard to provide for their children and funding for a good education is a top priority for all who have children nearing the end of high school. The Teamsters Local 769 Scholarship fund is something that all children of Teamsters Local 769 members are eligible for and the following application form can be printed at home or requested from your stewards or business agents. All 2016 graduating seniors are eligible to apply. All Teamsters Local 769 members are welcome and encouraged to help support the event that helps fund our scholarships by attending our Annual Golf Tournament on October 1, 2016.

Applications For 2016 JRH Scholarship Fund

Teamster Sons and Daughters Eligible to Apply The James R. Hoffa Memorial Scholarship Fund is now accepting applications for scholarship awards. The deadline for receipt of completed materials is March 31, 2016. Materials have been sent to every local union in the US and Canada, but if you would like to download the materials, please see the link below. Scholarship applicants compete in one of the five geographic regions where the Teamster Member Relation’s Teamsters Union affiliate is located. One category of awards totals $10,000 each. 2015 Golf Tournament Wrap-Up

The weather couldn't have been more perfect on Saturday October 10, 2015. Friends of Labor had come from miles around to pack the Palm Aire Country Club in Pompano Beach Florida for the Annual Teamsters Local 769 Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament. An Evening for the Ages

Unions have been hard at work in South Florida for a long time. Many locals had been chartered over the years and while some have faded into history or merged with one another, one local stands strong here in Miami. Golf Tournament Repeat

Everyone is a winner at this years Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament. It was a win for everyone involved at the 2013 Teamsters Local 769 Golf Tournament which was held this past weekend, on October 5th, 2013. The weather was beautiful and the scores turned in by the teams proved that it was a great day for golf. The Palm-Aire Country Club served as hosts again for this years event and their Oaks course was truly enjoyable to play.
