Donald Jack Marr 1947-2020 Labor lost a true champion this past Friday. Don Marr, 72 of Cooper City Florida, died Friday, January 24, 2020, with loved ones at his side. Many South Florida workers had the pleasure of knowing Don, as a Secretary-Treasurer for Teamsters Local 390 as well as a business agent for Teamsters Local 390 & 769. The following statement from Teamsters Local 769 is in regard to the tragic shooting of a UPS driver in Miami today. "It is with a heavy heart that I write this statement this evening. We are heartbroken by the tragic events from earlier today regarding one of our Teamsters Local 769 members (UPS Driver), who was carjacked while doing his job.
