Also, on Tuesday June 26, 2018, officers and agents of Teamsters Local 769 met with representatives of the UPS Labor Department and Operations Managers from the South Florida District at the Hialeah Hub. In attendance from our Union were President and Principal Officer Josh Zivalich, Business Agents Roly Piña, Keith Pascalis and Mike Cortez. They met to discuss some of the changes that will potentially take place later this year.
As a result of this meeting we would like to inform you of some tentative dates and NEW opportunities which could interest our UPS members in multiple work locations.
Essentially, the move to begin operations at the NEW Doral UPS building is tentatively scheduled for Friday, October 5, 2018. In this post you will find a document detailing how staffing will be handled. We will continue update our members on these plans as the information becomes available.
