Dan Allen enjoyed a long and distinguished 36-year career at UPS, beginning in 1989 as a part-time preloader at the Riviera Beach facility. Climbing the seniority list, he became a full-time package car driver in 1994 and later qualified for a feeder driver position in 2014.
A dedicated Teamster, Dan was elected shop steward in 1998, where he passionately advocated for his fellow UPSers. His steadfast commitment to enforcing the Collective Bargaining Agreement and supporting his coworkers led to his appointment as building grievance coordinator, a role in which he played a key part in resolving grievances and workplace issues.
After retiring from UPS in 2025, Dan has continued his service to Teamster members as a business agent for Teamsters Local 769.
He resides in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, with his wife, Nancy Allen.
Dan works out of the West Palm Beach Office.
