
Sean Bryson was born in Ft. Lauderdale Fl. In 1968 and has been a proud member of Teamsters Local 769 since June, of 1987. While attending Miami Dade Community college he worked the night shift in Hialeah for United Parcel Service. While working the Night Shift he became a shop steward and began advocating on behalf of his co-workers.
In the Spring of 1992, he Married Mariana Bryson who had recently graduated from FIU as an educator who now works for MDCPS and is a proud member of United Teachers of Dade. They have two children, John and Emily.
Then on August 5th of 1992 he received an associate in arts degree from Miami Dade Community College in Labor Management Relations.
In January 1993 he became a package car driver where he continued as a shop steward and was later made the grievance coordinator for the Hialeah facility. He continued in this role until the summer of 2023 when he was hired as a Business Agent with Teamster Local 769.
Currently he works as a Business Agent for the Local where he helps resolve grievances, organizes new groups and negotiates contracts. He is currently assigned to represent the UPS members who work at the Homestead and Hialeah facilities and AmeriGas. He is also active with the AFL/CIO where he has served as a delegate and regularly attends their monthly meetings.
