A Call to Action The following letter related to the tragic murder of George Floyd is to be shared with all members of Teamsters Local 769.

Local 769 joins the Rivers Coalition

Teamsters Local 769 is joining the Rivers Coalition to help advocate for clean waterways in Florida. Teamsters Local 769 was voted in as members of the Rivers Coalition on July 28, 2016, with shop steward Stevan Anderson appointed as the voting delegate to represent the local. Steven is employed at Club Med in Port Saint Lucie, FL. 2015 United Way Campaign

Teamsters Local 769 and it’s members do many things for working families and for the community in which we live, including lending support to outside charitable causes. While America’s Union movement works to improve conditions for all working families, we must also work to help those left behind in our worsening economy. The United Way is a long time partner of Teamsters Local 769 and for years this partnership has truly made a difference right here in our own communities.
