2016 Holiday Picnic Recap

The Teamsters Local 769 Annual Holiday Picnic was this past weekend and the event was amazing as usual. The Indrio Road Schoolhouse Park in Fort Pierce again served as the location and the weather couldn't have been more perfect. Santa Claus made his routine stop at our picnic where other activities included face painting, pony rides and bounce houses so every child had a good time. There were plenty of happy adults as well. Teamsters Local 769 Annual Toy Drive

Once again this holiday season, Teamsters Local 769 will be collecting toys for children in need. We will be distributing those collected through programs in Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach and Monroe Counties. The following flyer can be posted on Local 769 approved job site bulletin boards and distributed to all members. Monroe County Food Drive

The Teamsters annual food drive in Monroe County was once again a great success. The success comes at the generosity of many members contributing non-perishable products. While all the Teamsters who participate in this success are significant, in this particular picture are three of the driving forces, Becky Roberts from the Sheriffs office, Charlie Pons from the city of Key West and Zach McCart from UPS. Thanks to them and to all of the Teamsters who contributed their time and efforts to again make this years food drive a positive Teamster influence on our community.

TNBC Delivers Joy to Children in Miami Gardens

As part of Crystal Lake Apartments Angel Tree Drive, the South Florida TNBC delivered toys to boys and girls between the ages of 2 and 18 on December 18th, 2015. Crystal Lake Apartments Assistant Community Director Kenisha Cliett helps organize this event which works hard to help many less fortunate families in our community who struggle to keep food on the table and shelter for their children. 2015 Holiday Picnic Highlights

Above are some video highlights of our recent Teamsters Local 769 Holiday Picnic on December 5, 2015 in Fort Pierce Florida. Look for yourself. Share with your friends and coworkers. See what you missed and be sure to join us next year for a day of Union family fun. Thanks to everyone who contributed to the Treasure Coast Food Bank.
