Maruti Teamsters Ratify First Contract
A year ago, when workers at Maruti Fleet and Management voted unanimously to become members of Teamsters Local 769. Among the many things they were seeking was job security, seniority rights and a voice on the job. On Monday April 11, 2016 Maruti Teamsters voted to ratify their first contract where along with wage increases they gained more personal time, vacation time, job security in the form of a strong grievance procedure and a contract that will last them the next three years.
