Local 769 Retiree Continues to Help Others

100logoTeamsters Local 769 would like to encourage our members to consider supporting a wonderful charity scholarship event. We would like to thank everyone for your past and continued support of the Teamsters Local 769 Scholarship Fund but we would like to take a moment and let you know about another event that retired Local 769 Business Agent Tyronne Brewster has gotten involved in.

what-they-seeThe name of the charity is The 100 Black Men of Greater Fort Lauderdale and they are holding their 4th Annual Golf Tournament and Scholarship Luncheon on Saturday June 21st, 2014. The Annual Golf Tournament raises scholarship funds for young men graduating from the 100 Black Men of Greater Fort Lauderdale Leadership Academy for continuing their education. Already in it’s eighth year, the Leadership Academy continues to see exponential growth as young men voluntarily seek mentorship and guidance from community mentors who serve as role models. We would like to ask you consider supporting this charity scholarship event as this demonstrates how even after retirement, Brothers and Sisters of Teamsters Local 769 strive to make their communities better for everyone.

Any questions regarding the event should be directed to Brother Tyronne Brewster at (305) 336-5512.

Thank you for your consideration.
