Keith Pascalis

Keith was born in Coral Gables, Florida, and raised in the City of Miami, Florida. He has lived in South Florida all of his life. Keith graduated from Miami Christian School in 1974. He attended Miami-Dade Community College South where he studied computer science and earned an Associate of Arts degree in 1976. From 1977-1978 Keith attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. He currently resides in Pembroke Pines, Florida with his wife Donna. They have three children, Jason, Jillian, and Meghan, and seven grandchildren, Jason, Melody, Hunter, Brody, Connor, Savannah, and Aiden.

In March of 1979, Keith was hired by United Parcel Service as a full-time service provider. He worked at the Miami facility as a package car driver in the Gables, Central, and Miami Beach centers. During this time Keith was made a shop steward and began representing the members of Teamsters Local Union 769. When the UPS Hialeah facility opened in 1987, he moved up to the feeder division. During his 23 ½ years at UPS, Keith handled hundreds of grievances and served on various committees addressing safety as well as the KORE committee. He was also a member of the Hurricane Andrew relief committee in August/September of 1992.

During the 2002 contract negotiations between the International Brotherhood of Teamsters and UPS, Keith served as the contract coordinator for the UPS Hialeah facility. Beginning in November of 2002, Keith assumed his current position as a Business Representative with Teamsters Local Union 769. Primarily representing UPS workers, his responsibilities also include organizing new members, negotiating labor agreements, and resolving disputes between members and the companies where they work.
